Terms of Service
Last updated: July 10, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TradeBuddy AI (the “Service”), operated by TradeBuddy AI. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for your account, keeping your credentials secure, and all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
2. Subscriptions, trials & billing
- Paid plans may start with a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your selected plan begins and your payment method is charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel any time from the Billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice for future billing periods.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. “Lifetime” purchases grant access for as long as the Service is offered and are not a guarantee of perpetual availability.
- Payments are processed by Stripe; by subscribing you also agree to Stripe’s terms.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the data and content you submit (trades, notes, screenshots, etc.). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you (including sending it to our AI providers to generate features you request). You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to submit it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe others’ rights while using the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or misuse the Service or its data.
- Upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or disrupt the Service.
- Use the Service to provide regulated financial advice to third parties.
5. AI features
The Service includes AI-generated content (coaching, grades, reports, analysis). AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for informational and educational purposes only. You are responsible for any decisions you make. See our Risk Disclaimer.
6. Not financial advice
TradeBuddy AI is a journaling, analytics, and educational tool. It is not a broker, financial adviser, or investment service, and nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. See our Risk Disclaimer, which is part of these Terms.
7. Intellectual property & trademarks
The Service, including its software, design, and the “TradeBuddy AI” name and logo, is owned by TradeBuddy AI and protected by intellectual-property laws. “TradeBuddy AI”™ and the TradeBuddy AI logo are trademarks of TradeBuddy AI. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeBuddy AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any trading losses, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TradeBuddy AI from claims arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Australia will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
12. Dispute resolution — arbitration
All disputes arising out of or in connection with the present contract shall be finally settled under the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce by one or more arbitrators appointed in accordance with the said Rules.
Nothing in this section deprives you of any non-waivable rights or remedies you hold under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence (including the Australian Consumer Law).
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
